Participating Schools

P188X will provide the students with academic support through after school programming focused on mathemaics, ELA, and science content supported and enhanced through the Toon Boom animation program. The program will integrate the arts via dance, physical education and art. We will focus on interdisciplinary content and technology. The Middle School After School Program will meet the unique needs of our students through effective academic enrichment in the aforementioned content areas using Unique Learning Systems, and Vizzle. Our standardized assessment students will utilize Codex and Connected Math 3 (CMP3).

All students will be responsible for creating and participating in a cumulative science based project and ongoing assessments with content specific rubrics.  We will improve student outcomes working in partnership with the parents, staff and students to boost academic achievement. 

P188X will provide healthy snacks and physical fitness activities to raise students’ health and fitness awareness along with their overall self esteem.  Life skills will be embedded in the program along with character and community building.
