Title: Making Virtual Field Trips Meaningful for Social Studies
Description: Making Virtual Field Trips Meaningful for Social Studies is a one-hour training session designed to help educators in the Middle School After School Program use virtual field trips as an educational resource. Field trips are a vital part of any academic curriculum and should introduce students to historical events, cultural context, and hands-on experience. This training will provide examples of virtual field trips and how educators can get students engaged in the activity.

Description: This workshop is designed to support District 75 educators that are part of the Middle School After School Program and will cover a wide range of resources for teaching math remotely using free interactive tools. Participants will be given example activities and resources to incorporate different virtual manipulatives, online simulations, and other virtual tools to engage students in mathematics learning.

ST Math Sessions
]ST Math is excited to share the details of their Monitoring and Supporting Students virtual workshop. In this 1-hour workshop, teachers will learn to analyze and interpret ST Math data to identify data alerts, trends and student needs. Teachers will explore strategies and tools to address student needs, and as a result, create an immediately applicable action plan to use with their students.
Title: PL100 - Play, Learn, Teach, and Grow Description: ST Math is an in-depth learning opportunity for those new to ST Math. Participants will immerse themselves in a variety of hands-on experiences that will teach them how ST Math works. Educators will come away with a plan to effectively implement the program with their students. Date: May 11th
Time: 9:30-10:30
Audience: New to ST Math Prerequisite: none WebEx link Title: PL102 – Monitoring & Supporting Students in ST Math Description: Use data to monitor and support your students. Educators will analyze and respond to their ST Math data and equip themselves with strategies to support students in ST Math. Supporting students when they struggle in ST Math using the program features and Learning Cycle, and monitoring class and individual data to create an action plan in response. Date: May 11th
